A retrospective exhibition of a Japanese painter, Hakuyo Kurata(1881-1938). In 1922, Kurata moved to Ueda in the region of Shinshu and devoted his energies to draw naturalistic beauties of its landscape and people. The artist also took an active part in spreading arts among the farmers in the area. The exhibition was composed of about the principal 100 works in each period of the artist’s life and also his illustrations for the art magazines. 【Date & Place】
