Exhibition of “Super Realism”; which is an art movement born in America in the second half of 1960’s. The paintings of this movement were executed super realistically and very often by use of the photos to paint the objects just as they are taken in photos. This exhibition was composed of about 70 paintings by the principal super realism artists, for example, Richard Estes, Ralph Goings, Rober Cottingham etc. The Exhibits were especially from Louis Meisel Gallery, the most popular gallery for Super Realism, and from Smithsonian Institutions in Washington D.C. etc. |
