A World of Stage – Russian Designs for Theatre, Opera and Dance
|Exhibition of the many aesthetically innovative and socially significant aspects of Russian theatrical design during the period of explosive artistic creativity, from the early 1900s to 1945. The exhibition featured 190 works by some of the major Russian theater designers which included original costumes, drawings as well as theatre programs, vintage photographs, porcelain statuettes, from The State Museum of Theatre and Music in St. Petersburg, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and also from the private collections in New York and Paris.
